On Ark

Ark is a game based around the idea of prehistoric survival with a emphasis on creature taming, it is a great game for playing with friends or on a server (With exceptions). I will first go over the good, the world is breathtaking and the fear you feel when you start is intense. the gameplay is fluid and always pushing you to evolve and grow your goals. there is a large breadth of items and dinos to gather and tame and the quality system is impressively diverse. now the bad, the pc version is really the best for only one reason. the developer has not allowed mods for console ark. a lot of dinos need a tlc pass and it tends to be grindy to an extreme. the pve mode suffers from overfocus on pvp

On the subject of dark souls.

In this review i shall be covering souls games, not including or demon souls bloodbourne due to the separate universes. i have no experience in dark souls 2, but in dark souls 1 and 3 i have some knowledge, before i can in all good conscience recommend buying any of these games, i must explain that these games are EXTREMELY challenging and sometimes quite scary and/or disturbing due to the undead nature of the majority of the enemies. However the souls games fluid combat, intriguing story, enigmatic, characters, and sense of achievement when one finally defeats a challenging boss.
Of the dark souls games i believe that 3 is the best running of the souls games, its few if any issues barely noticeable, dark souls 1 however has extremely noticeable frame rate drops which makes it somewhat difficult to play, especially when the enemys begin to throw fire bombs, however dark souls 1 for the pc has mods that improve performance immensely. in dark souls 3 coop is available very early in the game although it requires a special item called an ember or the player to complete a bossfight, if the player dies the ember effect is removed and all other players are returned to there own world, and the player must use another ember if they wish to be able to coop again, this game is not for players who wish to play mainly coop as there are many solo areas and the risk of death is always present.
